Demonstration site. Uptick Credit is a fictional business built to show a design system; the registration numbers, staff and sample files are placeholders. Nothing here is legal or financial advice.

What we do

Four services. The limits of each are printed beside it.

Two of these move what is on the file. Two move what you do next. None of them can remove accurate information, and every page below says so before it says anything else.

01 · Disputes

Dispute management

We read all three reports line by line, identify entries that are inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable, and dispute them under §611 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act — with a method-of-verification request when a bureau comes back “verified” without saying how.

  • A line-by-line read of the Experian, Equifax and TransUnion files, not a template letter blast
  • Disputes filed under FCRA §611 with the bureau and, where it is the better route, directly with the furnisher under §623
  • Method-of-verification requests when a bureau returns “verified” with no description of the procedure used

We will not dispute an item we believe is accurate. Filing a knowingly frivolous dispute wastes the window and can get the whole batch dismissed.

02 · Coaching

Credit coaching

Disputes only address what is wrong on the file. Sixty-five percent of the score is driven by payment history and amounts owed — things no dispute can touch. Coaching is the part of the work that moves those.

  • A statement-date map for every revolving account, so the balance that gets reported is the one you intend
  • A payment sequence that protects the largest factor first — current accounts stay current before anything else is attempted
  • Guidance on which old accounts to keep open and why closing one raises utilisation the same day

Coaching is education, not financial advice, and we are not a law firm or a licensed financial adviser.

03 · Tracking

Tri-bureau tracking

Your three files are not the same file. Furnishers choose which bureaus they report to, so an account can be perfect on one report and missing from another. We track all three side by side and show you the divergence.

  • Monthly snapshots of all three files with every change flagged and dated
  • A divergence view: which accounts report to which bureaus, and which do not
  • Alerts on new inquiries, new collections and changes to reported balances or limits

We read your reports; we do not write to them. Only a furnisher or a bureau can change what is reported.

04 · Validation

Debt validation

When a third-party collector is reporting, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act gives you a right they must answer: prove the debt, prove the amount, and prove you are the one entitled to collect it.

  • A written validation request under FDCPA §809(b), sent within the window where it carries the most weight
  • Collection activity must pause until the collector validates — we track whether it actually does
  • A check on whether the collector is licensed to collect in Florida

Validation does not make a valid debt go away. If the collector validates it and it is accurate, it stays.

Required notice

No fee before the work is done

No money is charged or received before the promised services have been fully performed. There is no setup fee, no retainer, no deposit and no “file audit” charge at Uptick Credit.

You are billed for a cycle of work after that cycle is complete, and you may stop at any time without owing anything for work not yet performed. A company that asks you for money before it has done anything is breaking federal law, and that is reason enough to walk away from it.

Credit Repair Organizations Act, 15 U.S.C. §1679b(b).

Required notice

Your three-day right to cancel

You may cancel your contract with Uptick Credit, without penalty or obligation, at any time before midnight of the third business day after the date on which you signed it.

Your written contract carries a separate Notice of Cancellation form, in duplicate, printed in the same type size as the contract itself. You do not have to give a reason. You do not have to use our form — any written notice delivered to us by the deadline is sufficient. Nothing is charged.

Next step

Read your file before you hire anyone.

Two paths. One of them costs nothing and always will. We would rather you took that one and did not need us.

Have us do it

A line-by-line read of all three files and a written plan, at no charge and with no obligation. If there is nothing worth disputing we will tell you that, and the review still costs nothing.
