Pricing
Nothing is charged until the work it pays for has been done.
That is not a promotion. It is federal law — the Credit Repair Organizations Act prohibits a company like ours from taking money before the promised services are fully performed — and a company that ignores it is telling you something important about itself.
Required notice
No fee before the work is done
No money is charged or received before the promised services have been fully performed. There is no setup fee, no retainer, no deposit and no “file audit” charge at Uptick Credit.
You are billed for a cycle of work after that cycle is complete, and you may stop at any time without owing anything for work not yet performed. A company that asks you for money before it has done anything is breaking federal law, and that is reason enough to walk away from it.

Three ways to do this
One of them costs nothing and is listed first on purpose.
Do it yourself

- A worked example of a method-of-verification request
- The statutory reporting clocks in one table
- No account, no email address, no upsell

People who want the analysis but will do their own posting.

- Line-by-line read of all three reports
- A written list of every candidate item and its specific defect
- Drafted dispute letters, ready to sign
- One coaching call on utilisation and payment sequencing
- Billed only when the cycle is complete
- Most people choose this
Managed
$119per completed cycle
People who would rather not run the correspondence.
The same analysis, and we run the cycle: filing, tracking receipt dates, following up at day 31, requesting method of verification where it is worth requesting, and reading every response back to you.
- Everything in Guided
- We file and track every dispute, with dated receipts
- Method-of-verification requests where warranted
- Debt validation under FDCPA §809 where a collector is involved
- Monthly tri-bureau tracking with every change flagged
- Billed only when the cycle is complete
A cycle is one round of disputes across all three bureaus and the responses that come back from it. Most files take between one and four cycles; some take one and then stop, because the remaining entries are accurate. We do not sell a fixed number of cycles in advance, and we will tell you when there is nothing left worth filing.
The billing sequence
Five steps. The invoice is the fifth.
Every step before the last one is free, and that ordering is the whole compliance point. If a company you are considering wants money at step one, two, three or four, it is not a pricing preference — it is a violation of 15 U.S.C. §1679b(b).
- 1$0

If you decide to go ahead, you get a written contract and the separate statutory disclosure before you sign anything. Still no charge.
- 3$0
Three business days
Your cancellation window runs. You may cancel for any reason, without penalty. Still no charge.
- 4$0
The cycle runs
Disputes are prepared, agreed with you, filed, and tracked. The bureau’s window runs. Still no charge.
- 5Invoice
The cycle completes
Responses are in and passed to you with our reading of them. Now, and only now, an invoice exists for that cycle.
Required notice
Your three-day right to cancel
You may cancel your contract with Uptick Credit, without penalty or obligation, at any time before midnight of the third business day after the date on which you signed it.
Your written contract carries a separate Notice of Cancellation form, in duplicate, printed in the same type size as the contract itself. You do not have to give a reason. You do not have to use our form — any written notice delivered to us by the deadline is sufficient. Nothing is charged.

You can do all of this yourself, for free
You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report yourself, at no cost, by contacting the consumer reporting agency directly. Nothing we do requires a fee to be effective. Everything on this page is a right you already hold under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Get your free reports from the only federally authorised source: annualcreditreport.com. Do not pay a site that charges for them, and do not use a lookalike domain.
Our free do-it-yourself guide is the same process we run for clients, written out in full: how to read the file, what a dispute must contain, the addresses, the statutory windows, and what to do when a bureau answers “verified”. It asks for no email address and sells nothing.
Pricing questions
- Do you charge a setup fee?
- No. The Credit Repair Organizations Act prohibits charging or receiving any money before the promised services have been fully performed. A setup fee, a file audit fee, a retainer or a first-month deposit are all the same thing under that rule, and we charge none of them.
- When exactly am I billed?
- After a cycle of work is complete. A cycle is: the file read, the item list agreed with you, the disputes filed, and the bureau responses received and passed on to you. Only then does an invoice exist for that cycle.
- What if I cancel mid-cycle?
- You owe nothing for work that has not been performed. There is no termination fee and no notice period.
- Is a cheaper plan a worse plan?
- The plans differ in how much of the work is ours and how much is yours, not in how hard we try. The guided plan is genuinely cheaper because you send the letters; the outcome depends on the file, not on the tier.
